100th Post Giveaway, Some Finishes etc and June's ORT report

Hi Blogger friends

I know this post has been quite awhile in coming, but I have been busy.

I will get all my updates listed first and you will find the giveaway at the bottom of this post.

Stitching Updates

My first update is for my Roll Your Own 2013 project that is designed by Tracy Horner of Ink Circles and has its own Yahoo group. I am doing the Solas colour option which were my own selection, Tracy gave it its name.

Then follows the first of my three completions
This Poppy Lady was started as a round robin with the FWC group a few years ago now. It came back to me with a small section on the left hand side needing completing, well I finally dug it out and completed it.
This Blackwork I started on last year and have now finally completed it. I really enjoy Blackwork now to do the other gardens Scottish, Irish and Welsh :-)

My final completion since my last post is the Foxglove Card for the FWC Card Exchange

The other stitching I have been doing is below

The 1st of June saw the start of the latest Polstitches SAL via the Facebook group. You can either do Bluebell or Pansy from the Nora Corbett range. I chose to do Pansy as they are my favourite flower. I am stitching it on 28ct Opal Linen on Polstitches Moonrise which was a limited colour from last year. The progress photo above shows the first weeks requirement which was 7hrs stitching using railroading. I chose to only railroad the top leg of my stitches to speed up the process. Week 2's requirement is to do 6 hrs stitching to give those who did not manage the first weeks time to catch up.

This is my progress on the current UFO I am trying to finish. I got a couple of hours work done this week. Hopefully over the next 7 days this will be completed.
This is my progress on In the Poppyfields as of Friday 7th June 2013. I did not stitch yesterday.

Stash Additions

All Our Yesterdays DMC Limited Edition Kit of Cowes - which is where I originally come from.

This is the current months limited edtion fabric. I think it is gorgeous.
