Hi Blogger Friends,
I have not followed my plan this week and will not be returning to it until 1st March 2014. I have been struggling with focusing on my plan and decided to take a break until the end of the month.
That said I have still been stitching and below is what I have done over the last week.
The first thing I worked on this week was the second round robin below are photos of what I received and then what I stitched, it has now been posted on to the next stitcher.
That is all the stitching that I have done over the last week. I have also continued with my Crochet Granny Stripe Blanket and this is where I have got to
Finally Friday was Valentines Day and my lovely husband Simon bought be several bunches of flowers
Well that's it for this week, hopefully I will get some stitching done over the next 7 days.
Bye for now

This weeks main project was a small UFO - The Rain Fell by Little House Needleworks. I managed to complete it on Monday. As you can see from the photos below there was not much to be done.
Saturday Peacock - this went from this
Sunday Winter Sunset - went from this
I completed the round robin I was working on below is how it looked when I posted it on
The first thing I did was make a hair scrunchy from the very useful Crochet Unravelled book. The link I have posted is for the older version the one I have, there is a newer one released last year but I do not know if the contents are the same. Below is my result not perfect but I don't think it is bad for a first attempt.
Attic24 instructions. Below are photos of my efforts
Finally in the week I bought and occasional magazine (in that it isn't a weekly or monthly issue) called Let's Get Crafting Knitting and Crochet. It is quite expensive at £7.99 but it does include a yarn pack a pair of knitting needles and a crochet hook. This issue the yarn is of an aran weight and the needles and hook are 5.5mm. There are a variety of projects in the magazine which you can use the pack on. I chose a craft bag. Below is my progress
So that's it for this week.
Bye for now

Well firstly I am getting my post in on time this week.
So being Week 4 this meant my main project was a Card. The cards I intend to do in the 4th week of the month are by Lesley Teare and feature birds
Saturday saw me working on Peacock another design by Lesley Teare
It went from this
Sunday I returned to working on Winter Sunset which went from this
I received not one but two round robins on Tuesday and I started work on the first one. The theme for this robin is US State Flowers Texas to Wyoming and I chose to stitch Wyoming. Below is my progress as of Sunday 2nd February.
This week I was once again got a bit distracted by Crochet. I have finally learnt to work in rows and can now at some stage attempt a row blanket.
I then learnt how to do a Daisy Granny square via the links at Tillie Tulip Blog How to make a Daisy. If you look at the link at the bottom of the page it gives you another link at adding more rounds which I also used to create this
My little post it notes fit in it really well.
I then made a further 12 of these using white fleck yarn as the final round. As I do not have a great deal of this yarn I will make these eventually into a scarf.
I really love this pattern as for me it is a much neater finish than when I do a traditional granny square.
This week I also received some stitching goodies
Well I think that's it for this week. Until next time ....
Bye for now
